Franca Valsecchi () is a botanical , mycologist , [ 2 ] taxonomist , conservative , and Exploratory Italian . [ 3 ] [ 4 ]
Carrera
In 1953 , he obtained a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Catania, 110/110 cum laude .
Since 1960, she has been developing academic and scientific activities in the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences, of the University of Sassari . [ 5 ]
She is the author in the identification and naming of new species for science, as of April 2016 , she has twenty-six records of new species for science, especially of the families of the boraginaceae , caryophylláceas , fabaceas ; and with emphasis on the genus Anchusa , Dianthus , Genista , regularly publishing them in Webbia , Parlatorea , Boll. Soc. Sarda Sci. Nat. (See link to IPNI below ).
